Postpartum Depression & Anxiety Therapy

Finding Peace, Balance, and Grace in Motherhood

Book a Free Call

Motherhood was meant to be joyful, yet lately, it feels heavy and lonely.
You love your baby deeply, but inside, you feel drained, anxious, and disconnected from yourself. The sleepless nights, constant self-doubt, and the pressure to do everything perfectly—which comes from an intense need to protect your baby—have left you feeling unsteady, fearful, and worried.

At Willow Path Collective, we help mothers rediscover themselves, rebuild confidence, overcome fear with compassion, grace, and without guilt or judgment.

You’re Not Broken, You’re Overwhelmed — and You’re Becoming

Motherhood changes everything — your body, your emotions, your relationships, even the way you see yourself. No matter how much you researched, prepared, or prayed for this season, the reality often feels heavier and lonelier than you expected.

You may have noticed yourself:

  • Crying more easily or feeling emotionally numb

  • Battling intrusive thoughts or fears about your baby’s safety

  • Struggling to enjoy the moments you once looked forward to

  • Feeling alone, even when surrounded by people who care

  • Exhausted from trying to hold everything together

  • Feeling constant pressure to get everything right, worried that not doing enough could impact your baby’s wellbeing

Even though your internal voice may be telling you are failing, you are not failing. You are carrying so much, maneuvering change and attempting to adjust. Postpartum depression and anxiety are common, treatable, and nothing to be ashamed of.

How Therapy Helps You Heal

A Welcoming, Faith-Integrated Space for Mothers

At Willow Path Collective, therapy isn’t about quick fixes or telling you what to believe — it’s about slowing down and creating space to make sense of what’s been heavy. Together, we look at what’s happening emotionally, mentally, relationally, and spiritually, honoring the full picture of who you are and the values that shape your life.

Faith is integrated thoughtfully and respectfully — never assumed, never forced. For some, that means prayer or reflection through Scripture; for others, it’s exploring how personal beliefs and values bring meaning, peace, and strength. Each session is grounded in ethical, evidence-based care, nurturing healing that feels authentic — restoring peace, resilience, and connection in ways that reflect your faith and your values.

FAQs

  • Many moms wonder where the line is between “normal” new mom stress and something more.
If sadness, irritability, worry, or guilt last longer than two weeks — or begin to affect your sleep, appetite, or ability to enjoy your baby — it may be more than typical adjustment stress.
If you ever experience scary or intrusive thoughts about your baby’s safety or your own, know that this is not uncommon but is a sign you deserve extra support right away.
You don’t have to figure this out alone — therapy can help you understand what’s happening and begin feeling like yourself again.

  • Absolutely. Support from loved ones and community is both important and vital to healing. But therapy offers a different kind of space — one where you can process emotions more deeply, recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and learn tools that support lasting change. Therapy isn’t a replacement for faith or community; it’s a complement to them — helping you strengthen the foundation you already have.

  • That’s completely okay. While Willow Path Collective offers faith-integrated therapy, faith is never assumed or imposed. We’ll work together in a way that reflects your values and comfort level. Some clients choose to include faith-based practices, while others prefer to focus solely on evidence-based approaches — both are fully supported. Everyone is welcome here.

  • Yes. Symptoms can appear any time in the first year — and even beyond, especially during big transitions or stress. Many mothers are surprised to learn this. Healing is possible at any stage, and reaching out sooner can help prevent symptoms from becoming more intense.

  • Both options are available. While this page focuses on postpartum support for mothers, couples sessions can help partners navigate the transition to parenthood together — improving communication, connection, and teamwork during a demanding season.

  • Yes. Research shows that virtual therapy is just as effective as in-person care. It also allows you to meet from home — no childcare, driving, or added stress. All sessions are held through secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms to protect your privacy.

I make it a priority to ensure that virtual sessions feel just as engaging, personal, and supportive as if we were sitting together in the same room. Through intentional connection, shared reflection, and real-time feedback, you’ll find that healing and growth can happen — even from the comfort of your own space.

  • Each session is a conversation — a space to reflect, process emotions, and learn tools that support you. We’ll work together to explore what’s been weighing on you and identify practical steps that fit your current season of motherhood.

Babies are always welcome in session — I understand that caring for your little one is part of this stage of life. Toddlers are naturally curious and love to interact, which can make it harder to stay fully present, but they should never be an impediment to you receiving care. Together, we can find creative ways to make sessions work for your needs and schedule so that therapy remains both accessible and supportive.

  • Those feelings are more common than you think. Many mothers believe they “should” be happy or able to handle it all on their own. Therapy offers space to release those expectations and extend grace to yourself.

Seeking help doesn’t mean you’re failing — it means you’re healing.
Motherhood is one of the most profound and life-changing seasons, and lack of support is the number one factor linked to perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs). Reaching out for help is not a sign of weakness — it’s an act of courage and protection against the very thing that can make symptoms worse.

You Deserve to Feel Like Yourself Again

You don’t have to walk through this season alone. With the right support, healing is possible, peace can grow, and joy can return — one step, one conversation, one moment of grace at a time.
