Fees & Insurance

At Willow Path Collective, I believe in financial transparency and collaboration.

Understanding your investment in therapy helps you make the best decision for your care, free of surprises or confusion.

Health Insurance

Every insurance plan is unique. Coverage for mental health services—including telehealth—can vary based on your plan type, provider network, and the specific benefits offered. Because of this, I cannot guarantee that your insurance will cover therapy sessions, even if listed as an in-network provider.

Before beginning services, I recommend contacting your insurance company directly to verify your specific coverage, as every plan is different.

(You can usually obtain this information by calling the number on the back of your insurance card.)

Willow Path Collective is currently in-network with:

  • Cigna

  • Aetna

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS)

  • Lyra EAP

  • United Healthcare

Regulations and Disclosures

Therapists are required by federal and state laws to provide clear disclosures regarding fees, insurance, and billing, including:

  • The No Surprises Act (Good Faith Estimate), which ensures you receive an estimate of service costs before care begins

  • HIPAA compliance to protect your privacy and health information

  • Ethical requirements under the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC) and Texas LPC Board, which mandate transparent billing and informed consent

You will receive all required disclosures and consents electronically before your first session, and I’ll be happy to answer any questions about how billing or coverage works.

Private Pay Option

Some clients choose to pay privately, even if they have insurance, for reasons such as privacy, flexibility, or limiting what is shared with their insurance company. If you prefer this option, you may sign an Insurance Opt-Out Form that allows you to pay privately even if I’m in-network with your insurance plan.
